I purchased this mount for my new Magellan 1412 4.3 GPS.
Couldn’t ask for anything better to do the job of displaying the unit while being fully portable.

5 Stars GPS dash mount
Works great with my Garmin Nuvi & provides the flat area (that I did not have on my dash)for the suction cup to work that came with my GPS. It is very stable on my dash now. Very reasonably priced, as well.

This thing sits on your dash OK, however my garmin gps suction cup does not stay fastened to the mount. I have had to pick my gps off of the floor more than once. My suction cup works great when fastenedd to the window. I certainly would not recommend this product.
5 Stars It just does the job well!
Bought 1 and tried it on my mini van, works like a champ. It doesn’t matter how my vehicle bumps, it stays well on the dash board with my Mio C520. And for less than $9, can’t say anything more. Highly recommended.
1 Star Works great but a little instruction would go a long way
The Mizmi has a very slick bottom. I didn’t study it initially but the slickness comes from a cellophane-like material covering the friction base. Who knew? Carefully peeling off the cellophone after removing the white paper sewed into the edges reveals an effective friction base. Once this is done, the Mazmi sticks like glue to most positions on the dashboard. Why not just a little piece of paper included in the box to tell us this stuff? Tell me the little white moistened cloth (in a non-resealable bag) is to moisten the base and the suction cup of the mount. And put it in a zip bag to preserve the moisture for another use? A very simple product but begging for good communication with us - the buyers.
